Three-Gallon Stoneware Crock, Stenciled "LIPSCOMB & / SOMERVILLE, / STAUNTON, Va.," attributed to A.P. Donaghho, Parkersburg, WVA, circa 1880, cylindrical crock with rounded rim and applied lug handles, decorated with a stenciled "3" with flourishes below the rim and a strip of stenciled geometric designs at the center. Lipscomb and Somerville merchant stenciling at base. Flecks of flaking here and there. Flaking to underside. H 13 3/4".
