Glazed Redware Jar, Stamped "JOHN BELL," Waynesboro, PA origin, circa 1850, straight-sided jar with tooled foot, rounded shoulder, and concave rim, covered in a lead glaze over pale yellowish clay. Impressed with John Bell maker's mark on shoulder. Three rim chips. Heavy wear, possibly a firing defect, to the base of the rim on interior. H 7".
