Stoneware Jar with Bird and Leaf Coggled Decoration, attributed to the Morgan / van Wickle Pottery, Old Bridge, NJ, circa 1820, approximately two-gallon straight-sided jar with rounded rim, decorated around the shoulder with a coggled and cobalt-highlighted design of a bird holding a leaf in its beak. A few small base chips and a stone ping on one side. H 14".
