Large-Sized Stoneware Pitcher with Iron Glaze, English or American origin, early 19th century, ovoid pitcher with rounded foot and heavily tooled collar, decorated with a dipped iron oxide glaze on the upper half of the pitcher. Poorly restored rim chip with 2 1/2" line extending from it. Chips to base of handle. Y-shaped hairline in underside, continuing 5" and 3" up side of pitcher in two places. H 14".
