Large-Sized Stoneware Figure of a Pig, Midwestern origin, late 19th century, molded standing figure of a pig with anatomically-correct underside, perked ears, curled tail, and excellent facial expression showing exposed lower teeth. Covered in a reddish-brown glaze. Possibly used as an advertising piece for pork products. Mint condition. H 9 3/4" ; Length 13 3/4".
