Rare Alkaline-Glazed Stoneware Milkpan, Stamped "CHANDLER MAKER," Edgefield, SC origin, circa 1850, flared milkpan with pouring spout and large tab handles, decorated with a slip-trailed iron drape design on the front and back and looping trails of iron under each handle. Impressed with Chandler maker's mark under spout. In-the-making separation in each handle. Small chip on the end of one handle. 5" hairline from rim. H 7" ; Diameter 9 1/4".
