Glazed Redware Bowl with Elaborate Slip Decoration, probably PA origin, 19th century, flaring bowl with semi-squared rim, the lead-glazed interior decorated with unusual stamped geometric motifs in cream-colored slip below a series of slip-trailed lines. Further decorated above in cream-colored slip with unusual crossed S-scroll motifs separated by spots below a single line. Heavy chipping to rim. Significant wear to interior. Diam. 12 1/4" ; H 2 3/4".
