Two-Gallon Glazed Stoneware Jar, Stamped "A.A. JOHNSON, / WATER VALLEY, MISS.," late 19th or early 20th century, cylindrical jar with rounded shoulder and flared rim, the exterior surface covered in a brown Albany-slip-type glaze with traces of salt glaze. Excellent condition with expected minor wear to inner rim for lid and minor traces of old white paint at base. H 11 5/8".
