Small-Sized Manganese-Decorated Redware Bowl, Stamped "JOHN BELL," Waynesboro, PA origin, circa 1840-1880, with rounded sides, footed base, and thin, semi-rounded rim, decorated with streaked manganese and covered in a clear lead glaze. Impressed with John Bell maker's mark on underside. Excellent, essentially as-made condition. Diam. 4 3/4" ; H 1 1/2".
