Glazed Redware Mug, Stamped "JOHN BELL," Waynesboro, PA origin, circa 1840-1880, tapering mug with footed base and tooled shoulder, the surface decorated with reddish-brown sponging over a yellow ground and covered in a clear lead glaze. Chipping to rim. Three short surface lines to underside, not visible on interior. Some very light surface-level wear to exterior. H 4 1/8".
