Half-Gallon Hackensack, NJ Stoneware Advertising Jug, attributed to the Fulper Pottery, Flemington, NJ, circa 1900, Bristol-slip-glazed shoulder jug featuring the slip-trailed cobalt advertising, "H. Levene, / Hackensack, / N.J." In-the-firing spider lines to shoulder emanating from an in-the-firing ping. Short lines below shoulder molding. Small, U-shaped surface crack at base. Some additional in-the-firing crazing to shoulder and reverse. A minor in-the-firing ping to reverse. A small in-the-firing contact mark to handle. Minor chipping to bottom edge. Minor staining. H 9 1/2".
