Very Rare Half-Gallon Stoneware Advertising Bowl, Inscribed "S. Iszard / Asbury Park / N.J.", attributed to Union Pottery, Newark, NJ, circa 1880, tapered bowl with semi-rounded rim, featuring the freehand cobalt advertising, "S. Iszard / Asbury Park / N.J.". Provenance: Crocker Farm, Inc., March 24, 2018, lot 302. Difficult-to-find town name, size, and form. A thin, sealed top-to-bottom crack on reverse. Otherwise excellent condition. H 4" ; Diameter (across top) 8".
