Rare Glazed Stoneware Harvest Jug, Stenciled "DONAGHHO CO / PARKERSBURG," WV origin, late 19th century, beehive form with applied wide and narrow pouring spouts, the surface covered in a glossy, reddish-brown Albany slip glaze with stenciled grayish Donaghho Company maker's mark. This lot is the first harvest jug among the few hundred examples of marked Donaghho stoneware that we have sold over the years. Missing handle. Small chips to narrow spout. H 10 1/2".
