Alkaline-Glazed Stoneware Teapot with Swirl Pattern, Stamped "REINHARDT BROS. / VALE, NC," circa 1935, ovoid form with tubular pouring spout, rounded handle, and narrow, flaring mouth with applied clay tab for securing lid, the surface covered in an alkaline glaze over swirled clay. Underside impressed with Reinhardt Brothers maker's mark. Includes original lid with matching clay and glaze. Excellent, essentially as-made condition. H 8 1/4".
