Two Small Pieces of Alkaline-Glazed Stoneware, probably Upstate SC or NC origin, late 19th or early 20th century, a handled sugar bowl and ovoid pitcher with flaring collar, each covered in a blackish alkaline glaze. A spout chip and in-the-firing contact mark to rim of pitcher. Sugar bowl with a minor rim chip. H (of sugar bowl) 4 1/4".
