Two Pieces of Alkaline-Glazed Stoneware, Southern origin, 19th century, a small-sized ovoid jar, Edgefield District, SC origin, second quarter 19th century, and a narrow-bodied, ovoid jug, AL origin, third quarter 19th century, each with olive-colored alkaline glaze. Significant restoration to jar. Jug with long, thin cracks to body and a short, thin Y-shaped crack to spout/shoulder area. H (of jar) 6 1/4".
