Scarce Glazed Art Pottery Vase, Stamped Twice "J.H. OWEN," Seagrove, NC origin, early 20th century, ovoid vase with heavily-tooled shoulder and angular rim, the surface decorated with heavy cobalt over an orange ground and covered in a clear glaze. Underside impressed with two circular J.H. Owen maker's marks. Some light surface wear to exterior including three small flakes. Rim with two small chips and minor wear. H 6 3/4".
