Rare Glazed Pottery Stump-Form Flowerpot with Multi-Colored Slip Decoration, Signed "JW Moore / East Canton. O / The Stark Brick Co / Aug 1935," wheel-thrown, cylindrical form in the form of a tree stump with footed base and original drain hole in underside, the surface decorated with brown and blue slip and covered in a clear glaze. Underside incised with J.W. Moore signature. Wear to minor chipping around rim. Additional wear to surface and feet. Two short surface lines from rim, not visible on exterior. A few chips to feet. H 8 7/8".
