Rare Glazed Stoneware Wall Pocket with Blue-Slip Floral Decoration, attributed to Arie Meaders, Cleveland, GA, circa 1956-1959, ovoid form with flattened back, descending into pointed, bulbous turning, brush-decorated with a blue-slip daisy flanked by leaves, the surface covered in grayish glaze. Original piercing on reverse for hanging. Unmarked. Provenance: Frank W. White Collection. Excellent, essentially as-made condition with some old varnish spray on unglazed section on reverse. H 9 1/2".
