Very Rare Glazed Stoneware Vase with Two-Color-Slip Vine Decoration, Signed "ChEEVER / MEADERS / NOV. 30 / 1962," Cleveland, GA, 1962, tapering vase with flaring mouth, the surface decorated in blue and blue-gray slip with a large vine bearing leaves and four-petaled flowers, the surface covered in a streaky gray-to-white glaze. Underside with rare incised Cheever Meaders signature and full date. Provenance: Frank W. White Collection. Esssentially as-made condition with two firing cracks to interior base, one of which is visible on uderside. Additional firing lines to underside, not visible on interior. H 9 1/4".
