Extremely Rare Stoneware Vase with Multi-Colored Slip Palm Tree Motif, Signed "MEADERS," Arie Meaders, Cleveland, GA, circa 1956-1969, ovoid form with narrow, flaring neck, decorated in green, brown, and blue slips with a large pine tree on wavy ground with two flowers, against a cream-glazed ground. The only Arie Meaders vase that we are aware of featuring this decoration. Underside with rare style of signature, applied in blue slip, reading simply "MEADERS." Provenance: Frank W. White Collection. Excellent, essentially as-made condition. H 9 3/8".
