Glazed Stoneware Canning Jar, Stamped "JOHN BELL," Waynesboro, PA origin, circa 1840-1880, cylindrical jar with rounded shoulder and slightly-flared "wax sealer" rim, the exterior covered in a streaky bluish-cream glaze, the interior speckled with manganese. Excellent, essentially as-made condition with some minor residue to interior of rim. H 7 1/4".
