One-Gallon Stoneware Jug with Cobalt Floral Decoration, Stamped "E & L P NORTON / BENNINGTON VT:," circa 1870, tapering jug with tapering spout, decorated with a slip-trailed design of a flowering stem accented with spots. Cobalt highlights to maker's mark. Provenance: William Bouck Collection. Excellent condition with two tiny adjacent spout chips. H 10 3/4".
