Fine Six-Gallon Stoneware Crock with Cobalt Wreath Decoration, New York State origin, circa 1875, cylindrical crock with semi-rounded rim and applied lug handles, decorated with a large wreath accented with numerous spots, surrounding a three-petaled floral motif. Cobalt highlight to capacity mark. A chip to proper right handle. Some exfoliation to base on reverse. A thin 6 3/4" crack to underside, adjoining a very long horizontal crack at base. H 13 1/2".
