One-Gallon Cobalt-Decorated Stoneware Jar, attributed to the John Zigler Pottery, Timberville, VA, circa 1835, ovoid jar with semi-rounded spout, brush-decorated around the shoulder with six stylized tulip buds. Excellent, essentially as-made condition with a minor in-the-firing base chip. H 9".
