Alkaline-Glazed Stoneware Bowl, Alabama or possibly Edgefield District, SC origin, mid 19th century, flaring bowl with thin, rounded rim, the surface covered in an olive-colored alkaline glaze with dark-brown mottling. Very nice condition with a 5/8" rim chip and a minor in-the-firing ping to bottom edge. Diam. 9 1/4" ; H 4 3/8".
