Alkaline-Glazed Stoneware Jug with Rutile Decoration, Cleburne County, AL origin, fourth quarter 19th century, semi-ovoid jug with flared spout, the surface covered in an olive-colored alkaline glaze with large rutile runs from the spout. Incised "2" at shoulder. Excellent, essentially as-made condition. H 14".
