Two-Gallon Alkaline-Glazed Stoneware Jug, Catawba Valley, NC origin, circa 1850-1880, ovoid jug with tooled spout and wavy and horizontal incising to the shoulder, the surface covered in an olive-green alkaline glaze. Excellent, essentially as-made condition. H 14".
