One-and-a-Half-Gallon Stoneware Pitcher with Cobalt Floral Decoration, Baltimore, MD origin, circa 1880, ovoid pitcher with short collar and semi-rounded rim, brush-decorated with a double-blossomed plant motif flanked by swags. Additional swag decoration to spout and collar. A long, thin crack to underside, extending several inches up front of pitcher. Underside with salt residue and a small flake. Some restoration to spout. A small, glazed-over dent to base. H 12".
