Small-Sized Cobalt-Stenciled Stoneware Jar with South Wheeling, WV Advertising, Western PA origin, circa 1875, ovoid jar with squared rim, featuring the stenciled advertising, "From / Handlan Ratcliff / & Co / South Wheeling, / W. Va." Desirable size. Some minor nicks to bottom edge of rim. Some wear to cobalt. H 6 1/2".
