Small-Sized Stoneware Pitcher with Cobalt Floral Decoration, Baltimore, MD origin, circa 1840, thin-walled, ovoid pitcher with tooled collar, brush-decorated around the midsection with three horizontal tulip motifs. Swag decoration to spout. Restored handle. Small in-the-firing flaws. A minor base chip. A faint 1" line descending from upper handle terminal, not visible on interior. H 7".
