Half-Gallon Stoneware Pitcher with Cobalt Clover Decoration, Baltimore, MD origin, circa 1860, vasiform pitcher with footed base, tooled midsection, and semi-rounded rim, brush-decorated with a two-stemmed clover plant on the front and dashed brushwork along the spout. A few in-the-firing pings to surface. An unglazed in-the-firing contact mark to side of pitcher. Two spout chips. H 7 1/8".
