One-Gallon Stoneware Jar with Cobalt Floral Decoration, Baltimore, MD origin, circa 1820, cylindrical jar with rounded shoulder and semi-rounded rim, brush-decorated on the front and reverse with a double-blossomed flowering plant motif and on the side with a circular blossoms flanked by leaves. Excellent condition with a small chip to underside at edge and minor nicks to bottom edge. H 12 1/8".
