One-Gallon Stoneware Pitcher with Cobalt Floral Decoration, attributed to Henry Harrison Remmey, Philadelphia, PA, circa 1855, ovoid pitcher with footed base and tooled collar, brush-decorated with a two-stemmed flowering daisy plant ascending the front. Foliate decoration to the collar. Cobalt highlights to handle terminals. Some hairlines to base area and underside. Otherwise excellent condition with a minor in-the-firing ping and contact mark to body. H 11".
