Rare Cobalt-Decorated Stoneware "Top Hat" Canning Jar, Stenciled "A.P. Donoghho / Parkersburg, W. Va.," circa 1880, squat-shaped, tapering form with tooled shoulder and semi-rounded "wax sealer" rim, featuring scarce misspelled maker's mark. Large circular crack around most of base. Base is not reglued. Black marker notation on underside. H 5 1/4".
