Diminutive Redware Salt Cellar with Manganese Decoration, probably PA origin, 19th century, wide-mouthed, ovoid form on footed base, decorated around the exterior with sponged manganese, the interior and exterior coated in a clear lead glaze. Provenance: From a fifty-year New England collection. Excellent condition with minor rim wear. H 1" ; Diam. (at rim) 2".
