Four-Gallon Salt-Glazed Stoneware Jug, Stamped Twice "B. EDMANDS & Co.," Charlestown, MA origin, circa 1835, ovoid jug with semi-squared spout, impressed twice with a Barnabas Edmands maker's mark at the shoulder. Tight spider lines throughout jug. A glazed-over iron ping to bottom edge. A horizontal V-shaped, in-the-firing ping to front. A minor glazed-over iron ping near midsection on proper left side of jug. Traces of old red paint to surface. H 17".
