Stoneware Pitcher with Cobalt Floral Decoration, attributed to Henry Harrison Remmey, Philadelphia, PA, circa 1855, ovoid pitcher with footed base, tooled collar, and semi-squared rim, brush-decorated around the body with three drooping three-petaled floral motifs. Foliate decoration to sides of collar and swags flanking spout. Cobalt highlights to handle terminals. Excellent, essentially as-made condition. H 8 5/8".
