Glazed Redware Harvest Jug, New England or PA origin, second or third quarter 19th century, small-sized, ovoid form with footed base, applied tubular pouring spout, and arched handle across top, the surface covered in a heavy lead glaze over an olive-to-orange ground with red-and-orange spotting. Exceptional size with good color. Very nice condition. A small spout chip. A small in-the-firing flake (contact mark) to front. Other extremely minor wear. H 6 1/4".
