Rare Stoneware Presentation Bank with Cobalt Star Decoration, Inscribed "Edgar Stevens," probably PA origin, circa 1850-1880, ovoid bank with footed base, stepped finial, and carved coin slot at shoulder, accented below the finial with a series of circular piercings. Inscribed in cobalt with the name, "Edgar Stevens," around the body and decorated with a cobalt-highlighted star. Cobalt highlight to finial and cobalt band to piercings. Excellent condition with minor spout wear. H 6 1/4".
