Three-Gallon Stoneware Jar with Cobalt Bird Decoration, Stamped "FULPER BROS., / FLEMINGTON, N.J.," circa 1881-1898, cylindrical jar with tooled shoulder, semi-rounded rim, and applied lug handles, decorated with a slip-trailed design of a crested perched on a stylized branch. Three small chips to interior of rim. Wear to inner rim for lid. A small in-the-firing iron ping to left of branch on front. H 12 1/4".
