Two Small-Sized Stoneware Jars with Cobalt Decoration, attributed to Richard C. Remmey, Philadelphia, PA, circa 1875, a half-gallon cylindrical jar, decorated with four vertically-brushed tulips, paired with a rotund jar, decorated around the body with three brushed tulips. Smaller jar in excellent condition with two rim chips and thin line to underside. Half-gallon jar with rim and base chips, minor firing imperfections. H (of tallest) 8 3/4".
