Scarce Small-Sized Salt-Glazed Stoneware Jug, Stamped "N.H. DIXON," Chatham County, NC, mid 19th century, ovoid jug with squared spout, impressed with Nathaniel H. Dixon maker's mark at shoulder. Excellent size. Tight lines to reverse and side of jug. Shallow chipping around bottom edge. A minor flake to reverse of spout. H 8 1/2".
