Two Stoneware Crocks with Stenciled Cobalt Decoration, Stamped "F.H. COWDEN / HARRISBURG", PA origin, circa 1880, of four-gallon and six gallon capacity, both of similar cylindrical form, four-gallon crock with lid, both bearing unique stenciled decorations. Four-gallon crock with thin hairline crack extending across underside and 8" up left front side as a y-shaped crack. Lid with chips and hairline crack, Six-gallon crock with a few hairline cracks, firing imperfections, and chip to underside.
