One-Gallon Stoneware Pitcher with Cobalt Floral Decoration, Stamped "BURGER & LANG. / ROCHESTER N.Y.," circa 1867-1877, ovoid pitcher with flaring collar and semi-squared rim, featuring a slip-trailed design of a floral with detailed petals. Brushed cobalt highlight to maker's mark. A 1 5/8" flake to exterior of rim with adjacent 1" flake to interior of rim. Two spout chips. Numerous short vertical surface lines around base, not visible on interior. Staining to surface. H 11".
