Seven-Gallon Alkaline-Glazed Stoneware Jar, NC origin, late 19th century, ovoid jar with arched strap handles and angle rim molding, the surface covered in a dark-olive alkaline glaze. Traces of rutile to rim and handles. Incised "7' below one handle. A tight spider crack to shoulder area on one side of jar. H 18".
