Two-Gallon Stoneware Crock with Cobalt Bird Decoration, Stamped "T HARRINGTON / LYONS," NY State origin, circa 1860, cylindrical crock with tooled shoulder, semi-rounded rim, and applied lug handles, brush-decorated with a flowering plant bearing pairs of tulips and elongated blossoms, flanked by two freehand 2's. Cobalt highlights to maker's mark and handle terminals. A thin 4" crack from rim. Water glass staining to exterior and interior. H 9 3/8".
