Rare Three-Gallon Cobalt-Decorated Stoneware Cake Crock, OH or Red Wing, MN origin, circa 1885, wide, cylindrical form with semi-rounded rim and arched lug handles, decorated with a slip-trailed script "3" underscored by a flourish. Excellent, essentially as-made condition with only minor surface wear. Diam. 12 1/2" ; H 7 1/2".
