Stoneware Canning Jar with Cobalt Stripe Decoration, Western PA origin, circa 1880, tapering jar with tooled shoulder and semi-squared "wax sealer" rim, decorated with four horizontal cobalt stripes across the front. Roughness around exterior of rim, chips to interior of rim, and small chips/nicks to inner wax sealer rim. H 8 1/2".
