Two-Gallon Cobalt-Decorated Stoneware Jar with Newark, NJ Advertising, attributed to Union Pottery, Newark, NJ, circa 1880, semi-ovoid jar with flared rim, featuring the slip-trailed cobalt advertising, "Marsh. Kirk & Co. / Newark. N.J." Slip-trailed "2." above. Staining to surface. Residue to underside. Small chips to inner rim for lid. H 11 7/8".
